„Godesberg Picnic Blanket Concert
To spontaneously give someone a little treat.
The concept arose less than 10 days ago by chance, and thanks
Thanks to the incredible commitment of everyone involved, we managed to obtain all the necessary permits at such short notice – and all this during Corona times!
We can only implement the project because we are receiving so much support.
We are now relying on your cooperation and consideration!

What awaits you
Am Sunday 28th June 2020 Does the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn play for you in two concerts the Pastoral Beethoven in the „Pastoral Day version“,
for a small orchestra with only single woodwinds and brass.
In addition, singers will be joining, who also want to wish you a lovely summer musically.
The first concert begins at 6:00 PM.
The second concert at 8:00 PM.
Due to the corona protection regulations, a maximum of 100 people are allowed to attend each concert, observing safety distances.
We have „picnic blankets“ instead of seats.
You are buying a Picnic blanket for €30 and are these allowed with 2 people use. You can keep the picnic blanket.
The net proceeds will be donated to support the independent cultural scene in Bonn.
The orchestra will be in front of the garden terrace, at the back of the Redoute,
and you can take a seat with blankets on the meadow in the Redoutenpark.
Naturally, the concert will be amplified with loudspeakers, so you will be able to hear very well from all seats.
There will be no catering on site itself due to the regulations.
You can, however You can pre-order non-alcoholic drinks and small homemade snacks in advance.
Our kitchen team tops our homemade bread with various delicacies, and for refreshment, we have mineral water and fruit spritzers in various flavours. Alcohol may not be served.
You will receive your pre-ordered food and drinks in a carrier bag, along with the distribution of blankets, at the foyer before the concert.
